EOLO-ME TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS DESCRIPTION
The EOLO blender is designed for the production of Nitrox (up to 60% oxygen), Heliair, Helitrox (Triox) and Trimix for compressors up to a rate of 1.000 L/min (although on demand we can make blenders for higher flow rates).
It has 2 micrometric valves for gas regulation, with 2 oxygen sensors, software which controls at all times the production of the mixture and stops the safety valves higher or lower than the value established during the filling phase.
It is available in two versions, the ME (standard) and the MV which, apart from all the safety options of the ME, has the possibility to shut off the solenoid valves and the compressor in the event that an object is obstructing the intake or if the filter is dirty.
On demand, both versions can be made without the cables connecting to the compressor, and in their place, a special mechanism assigned to close the valves automatically when the compressor stops. This option is very useful if the blender is needed in different filling stations (special assistance teams, fleets of boats, cruise ships, expeditions etc.)
USES ACCEPTED BY THE SYSTEM A.A.T.
Blenders are designed to produce mixtures of gases, Oxygen, Helium, Neon, and Argon in continuous flow at very low pressures. The use of other gases could cause harm to people or possessions for which reason A.A.T. will not be held responsible for the use of gases not authorized in writing by the manufacturer.
OPERATING LIMITS OF THE SYSTEM
Temperature:-10ºC /+50ºC (14ºF/122ºF) Maximum allowed pressure 20 bar Humidity: 90% % Oxygen: 5% – 60 % (with appropriate compressors and equipment) % Helium: 77% Voltage: 24V It’s recommended not to smoke in the filling station, to keep the blender away from heat sources, rain, dust, sand, insects etc. Keep all the oxygen connections free from grease, oil and dirt.
GUARANTEE
There is a lifetime guarantee for the homogenization pipe.
The guarantee on the pneumatic, electrical and electronic parts is for 4 years, but doesn’t include damage due to excess voltage, manipulation by unqualified personnel, exposition to excessive temperatures (>50ºC), aggressive chemical agents, dirt and rain.
During the filling of bottles of Nitrox, Heliair, Helitrox (Triox) and Trimix, the presence of an operator duly trained and certified in blending gases and providing oxygen is obligatory, as required by the local laws. The manufacturer will not be held responsible for damage derived from the production of blends exceeding 40% oxygen in compressors which are not serviced for oxygen, neither will they accept responsibility for the use of oils not recommended by the manufacturer of the compressor for the production of nitrox and trimix.
A regular annual service by local S.A.T. is also recommended.
